Multi-Criteria Analysis of Smart Cities on the Example of the Polish Cities

This paper presents the application of a Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) method for ranking smart cities. During construction MCDM techniques, importance decision-making approach linear ordering 66 Polish cities with powiat status was presented. The Technique Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) used evaluation. has been verified applying it measure urban smartness. TOPSIS allowed compilation final ranking, taking into account publicly available indicators concept. work uses data from Local Data Bank Central Statistical Office (LDB). author conducted literature review research papers related and methods dated 2010 2020. Based on calculations using method, results obtained that city Krakow highest value become city.
